Senior Consultant

You'll own client engagements end-to-end and help junior consultants raise their game — sitting with senior stakeholders and bringing real clarity to how their business runs, not just how our software works.

Why this role

01

CMap's consulting team works alongside professional services and AEC firms to help them run their business better — not just implement software. We're looking for someone who brings genuine consulting polish: comfortable in front of senior stakeholders, able to bring real business context, and confident helping clients navigate change.

Own the engagement. Run client work autonomously and be trusted in front of senior and CFO-level stakeholders without oversight.

Bring business context, not just product delivery. Speak to why a client's business works the way it does — not only how CMap's product works.

Navigate change. Change-management exposure, and a genuine point of view on how AI and technology are reshaping client business models.

Raise the bar. Visibly lift junior team members through example, not just title.

What you'll bring

02

Here's what we're looking for at Senior Consultant level.

Must-haves

  • Around 7–10 years' professional consulting experience
  • Track record handling senior, complex or global client stakeholders
  • Strong communication — credible in front of C-suite contacts
  • Change-management exposure and awareness of how AI/technology is reshaping client business models
  • Curiosity, tenacity and problem-solving
  • Genuine, low-ego, roll-sleeves-up attitude

Nice-to-haves

  • Consulting training plus real operating experience in a SaaS/tech business
  • Background at a Big Four firm, Oliver Wyman, Capgemini, or a boutique/digital-transformation consultancy
  • Prior exposure to AEC, professional services, or similar project-based sectors
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Manchester
